Book Reviews and Author Interviews for The Red Hook Star-Revue
Since 2020, I’ve written “Quinn on Books,” a monthly column in the Brooklyn newspaper The Red Hook Star-Revue. I cover books across genres, often spotlighting New York stories, overlooked voices, and independent publishing.
Beyond reviews, I interview local authors, booksellers, and literary figures to offer readers a deeper look at the stories shaping today’s literary landscape. Some of my columns are photo essays, capturing the visual and cultural layers of the book world.
Though The Red Hook Star-Revue serves Brooklyn’s Red Hook, Carroll Gardens, Columbia Waterfront District, and Gowanus communities, you can read “Quinn on Books” online from anywhere.
